About
Why the fuck
do these exist?
Short version: I kept buying adult coloring books and kept being disappointed. Page after page of mandalas, gentle florals, and vaguely inspirational lettering. Relaxing, sure. Interesting? Not remotely.
So I started drawing the kind of pages I actually wanted to color. Cities being eaten. Gods with anger issues. Things living in the storm drain that really should not be living in the storm drain. Detail packed into every corner, because half the fun is disappearing into a page for three hours.
That turned into Highly Recommended — a series of coloring books for adults who want something strange to look at and something genuinely difficult to fill in. Each volume is thirty full-page illustrations built around a theme, drawn without much restraint and absolutely no committee.
There's no mission statement. Nobody's empowering your creative journey. It's just an artist making weird books and selling them directly to the people who get it.
If that's you: welcome. It's about to get weird.

No filler
If a page looks half-finished, it doesn't go in the book.
No committee
Drawn, edited and published by one stubborn person.
No condescension
You're an adult. The books treat you like one.
